Novice guide: Pok é mon hidden in weapons

2024-02-01 11:45

The spirits concealed within weapons are one of the four major gameplay elements in the game and a crucial factor in choosing martial arts sects. Let's take a look at popular spirits hidden in weapons and their martial arts sect choices (ranked by popularity and strength—remember the sequence of spirits hidden in weapons in the images).

**Evasion Flow:**

The core spirit for evasion flow deals damage to enemies while evading attacks.

Recommended Pairings: Blood Emperor, Dragon Goddess, Eccentric Dancer, Berserk Envoy, Valley Sovereign, Free-Flowing Swordsman.

**All Martial Arts Sects:**

Available for all martial arts sects, this versatile spirit provides a consistent attack boost superior to the second-tier Berserk Envoy. It's the only true god that can be used continuously on the spirit panel once obtained.

Recommended Pairings: All spirits hidden in weapons.

**Combo Flow Spirit:**

This spirit, with its naturally high combo rate, excels in both summoning beasts and pushing through stages. However, due to the difficulty in obtaining red spirits hidden in weapons, its popularity declined after the Illusion (spirit hidden in weapons lottery) event. The combo abilities of Red Demon Prince and Dream War Maiden surpass those of Thunder God occasionally in beast rankings.

Recommended Pairings: Blood Emperor, Silverwing Gun God, Berserk Envoy, Blazing Phoenix Feather, Dream War Maiden, Red Demon Prince, Femme Fatale.

**Dragon Lady's Sect Choices:**

The Dragon Lady has various martial arts sect choices. Since her skills mainly amplify spirit beasts, selecting a single-turn or double-turn attacking spirit beast is ideal. The best choices are Yinglong and Black Tiger, but we won't delve into details here.

Recommended Pairings: Fatal Serenader, Blood Emperor, Berserk Envoy.

**Combo Flow Spirit:**

A spirit that excels in stealing high attack power through frequent combos, giving the appearance of great strength. However, due to algorithmic issues, the stolen attack power resets every two turns, and the gains are in real-time. Consequently, its effectiveness is not as high as Berserk Envoy in beast rankings.

Recommended Pairings: Thunder God, Dream War Maiden, Red Demon Prince.

**Evasion Flow Spirit:**

In the early stages of the evasion flow, Eccentric Dancer can play a significant role when evasion attributes are not very high. However, like Thunder God, her limited boosting ability is due to the basic 20% evasion and the hard-to-obtain red spirits hidden in weapons. In the mid-to-late game, it's recommended to switch to output spirits hidden in weapons or Valley Sovereign and Free-Flowing Swordsman.

Recommended Pairings: Fatal Serenader, Free-Flowing Swordsman.

**Versatile Spirit:**

A versatile spirit, but its position is somewhat awkward. Some output-oriented martial arts sects don't find it useful, but it can provide high survival capabilities when used in the evasion flow.

Recommended Pairings: Fatal Serenader.

**Skill Flow Spirit:**

A spirit for the skill flow, but it requires pairing with martial arts and pets. It's a high-difficulty gameplay, boasting decent output and barely passable survival capabilities. Currently, the game is in its early stages, so this spirit is not recommended.

Recommended Pairings: Fatal Serenader.

The remaining red spirits hidden in weapons don't quite fit mainstream gameplay; they won't be listed here but will be introduced in subsequent posts.

**Universal Second Choice:**

Similar to Blood Emperor, this spirit directly provides a high attack boost, making it a constant choice for spirits hidden in weapons.

Recommended Pairings: All spirits hidden in weapons.

**Combo, Crit Flow Spirit:**

It's hard to imagine that an orange spirit hidden in weapons is significantly stronger than a red one. A must-have for combo-flow spirit beasts, representing a violent aesthetic.

Recommended Pairings: Blood Emperor, Thunder God, Verdant Nymph, Berserk Envoy, Dream War Maiden, Sword Soul Daoist.

The evasion flow spirit is designed to counter the combo flow and is an excellent choice when lacking matched spirits hidden in weapons in the early game. Valley Sovereign is a good option.

Recommended Pairings: Fatal Serenader, Free-Flowing Swordsman.

**Combo Flow Spirit:**

The primary recovery method for early combo-flow gameplay comes from Blazing Phoenix Feather. Compared to the purple Peacock Fairy, Blazing Phoenix Feather's recovery ability is superior. It helps prevent combo-stun setups from being slowly gnawed by boss pets during trial challenges.

Recommended Pairings: Thunder God, Red Demon Prince.

**Combo Flow Spirit:**

This spirit is active only when there are too many restrictions. As a result, Dream War Maiden is only active in beast rankings, and the second skill of Dream War Maiden, in terms of beasts, is equivalent to the first skill of Thunder God. It is popular among the majority of civilians but performs poorly in the arena and trials.

Recommended Pairings: Thunder God, Blood Emperor, Berserk Envoy, Femme Fatale.

**Combo Flow Spirit:**

A spirit that becomes stronger when hit. It performs poorly in beast rankings because characters have

stun attributes, which sometimes result in not stacking after defeating the spirit hidden in weapons. In trials and the arena, the survival ability of the combo flow is weaker, and occasionally, situations arise where the spirit hidden in weapons is beaten to death. Therefore, this spirit is not highly recommended.

Recommended Pairings: Thunder God, Blood Emperor, Berserk Envoy, Femme Fatale.

**Combo, Crit Flow Spirit:**

Mainly excels in the arena against evasion flow opponents with similar power levels. No need to explain the explosive opening crits.

Recommended Pairings: Blood Emperor, Verdant Nymph, Sword Soul Daoist.

The three remaining orange spirits hidden in weapons are somewhat lackluster, at least for now.

**Purple Dual Gods - First:**

The true father of spirit beasts, the preferred choice for combo-flow spirit beasts. The difficulty in obtaining purple spirits hidden in weapons makes Sword Sage's attack boost far superior to that of Blood Emperor and Berserk Envoy. Pairing with the Thunderous Art of Thunder can propel casual players into the top three of the spirit beast rankings.

Recommended Pairings: Blood Emperor, Verdant Nymph, Thunder God, Berserk Envoy, Dream War Maiden, Femme Fatale, Golden Snake Radiance.

**Purple Dual Gods - Second:**

The mainstay of evasion recovery flow, this spirit is a top choice when no better options are available. Pairing with Fatal Serenader, Valley Sovereign, and Eccentric Dancer ensures survival. Utilizing the Seven Luminaries Execution or Gale Slash from martial arts arts yields impressive damage.

Recommended Pairings: Fatal Serenader, Eccentric Dancer, Valley Sovereign.

**Combo, Stun Flow Spirit:**

A tool for early combo-flow gameplay, showcasing excellent performance against spirit beasts. However, as it is a purple spirit hidden in weapons, it becomes weaker over time. It can be paired with the Thousand Illusions Enchanting Soul technique to provide decent output and control capabilities when carrying the anti-virtual mirror during evasion flow battles.

Recommended Pairings: Blood Emperor, Thunder God, Berserk Envoy, Dream War Maiden, Red Demon Prince.

Alright, the most frequently appearing spirits hidden in weapons have been individually explained. Looking forward to more aesthetically pleasing and explosive spirits hidden in weapons in the future.
